In this blog I am going to talk about how to become a data analyst from scratch without taking any paid courses .



Data Analyst 







One of best option to switch you career is to become a data analyst. All you need is just an undergraduate degree  and some skills. Data Analyst is future secured career option.

The market for data analysts rising day-by-day. To become a successful data analyst, follow these steps :

  • Get an undergraduate degree in any field , (myself being a mechanical engineer) .
  • Buy a laptop . Specification - Intel Core i3  , 8GB Ram , 512 GB HDD/SSD . (minimum system requirements)
  • Create a Linkedin Account and select data analyst as a career option.
  • Start learning software including MS-Excel (Advanced) , Power BI , SQL .
  • Learn programming - Python or Ruby ; former is preferred ,
  • Start doing job simulations , or look for internships 



MS - EXCEL

Power BI 





Power BI - stands for Power for Business Intelligence.
You can download Power BI desktop version and mobile version for free. No need to sign up. use Excel files to create data visualization on power bi.
